Iowa Center for Children’s Justice (ICCJ) is a nonprofit organization assisting children in custody disputes through child-focused education and legal services.

Title: Staff Attorney

Job Summary: The Staff Attorney will maintain a client caseload in services provided by ICCJ which may include representation, parenting coordination, mediation and neutral evaluation.

Responsibilities and Duties:
• Effectively manage a client caseload
• Participate in regular staff meetings
• Participate with other ICCJ attorneys in case staffings and consultations
• Gather program metrics on cases
• Maintain all appropriate case documentation
• Support the organization, as needed, at professional associations, relevant community events and other opportunities to create awareness and engagement

Qualifications and Skills:
• Law degree and license in the state of Iowa
• Experience with family law

Salary/Benefits:
• Entry level salary is $55,000 (non-entry level salaries depend on experience)
