Champions for Children Thursday, September 11, 2025

4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Gilbert & Cook, 5058 Grand Ridge Dr, West Des Moines, IA

We’re excited to invite you to Champions for Children 2025—the Iowa Center for Children’s Justice’s signature fundraiser and celebration of the people who make a difference in the lives of Iowa’s kids. This fun and heartfelt happy hour event features nostalgic games, whimsical snacks, sweet throwback treats, and meaningful moments—all in support of children navigating the trauma of divorce and custody conflict.

We’re proud to honor this year’s Champions for Children Award recipients:

Advocate Award: Carol Bodensteiner

Des Moines Downtown Farmers' Market, June 14, 2025

The annual day at the market where the Iowa Center for Children’s Justice (ICCJ) will have a booth set up, and we’d love for you to stop by! Bring the kiddos—we’ll have a fun coloring activity to keep them entertained while you chat and learn more about ICCJ programs and ways to get involved!
