Iowa Center for Children's Justice Events

The Iowa Center for Children’s Justice hosts regular events to connect with families and stakeholders across our community.

Champions for Children Thursday, September 11, 2025

4:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Gilbert & Cook, 5058 Grand Ridge Dr, West Des Moines, IA

Tickets: $25

Unwind, give back, and let your inner child shine at the Iowa Center for Children’s Justice’s annual Champions for Children event—our signature fundraiser celebrating those who make a difference in the lives of Iowa’s kids.

The event will feature the presentation of the Champions for Children Awards, honoring individuals and organizations who go above and beyond to support children navigating family conflict, divorce, and custody disputes. These stories of impact will inspire, while your presence and support help raise crucial funds for ICCJ’s youth divorce workshops, legal advocacy, and financial assistance programs.

Whether you’re sipping a signature drink with a silly straw, building a friendship bracelet, or competing in a classic game with a cocktail in hand, this fun and heartfelt event—featuring whimsical snacks and sweet throwback treats—reminds us that supporting kids can bring out the kid in all of us.

Des Moines Downtown Farmers' Market, June 14, 2025

The annual day at the market where the Iowa Center for Children’s Justice (ICCJ) will have a booth set up, and we’d love for you to stop by! Bring the kiddos—we’ll have a fun coloring activity to keep them entertained while you chat and learn more about ICCJ programs and ways to get involved!
