The Iowa Center for Children’s Justice hosts regular events to connect with families and stakeholders across our community.

Bingo For Justice, Thursday, June 4, 2026

Join us for an exciting new event, Bingo for Justice, to kick off the summer for law clerks and lawyers downtown on Thursday, June 4, 2026! We’ll be at the Iowa State Bar Association (625 East Court Ave, Des Moines) from 4:30 – 6:30 p.m. for a fun and engaging evening of networking and bingo! Social from 4:30 – 5:00 p.m., bingo from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.

Connect with attorneys, summer clerks, and past and current District Court Judges while enjoying ten rounds of friendly competition with prizes.

Food and beverages provided.

Tickets: $50, sponsorships and team tables available.

 

Des Moines Downtown Farmers' Market, Saturday, June 12, 2026

Join us on Saturday, June 12, 2026 from 7:00 a.m. – noon for the annual Day at the Downtown Farmers’ Market! The ICCJ staff and volunteers have a booth set up to connect with the community. Families are invited to learn more about ICCJ programs and ways to get involved, while the kiddos enjoyed a fun coloring activity to keep them entertained!

 

 

Look Good, Do Good at Mr. B Clothing Thursday, June 11, 2026

Join us for a stylish summer social at Mr. B Clothing on Thursday, June 11, 2026 in Clive from 5:30 – 7:00 p.m. Enjoy refreshments, conversation, and the latest in menswear. Make a donation of $100 or more to ICCJ and receive a $100 gift card towards your purchase of $200 or more.

On Thursday, September 17, 2026, the ICCJ will host Champions for Children, our premier fundraising event.

The evening will spotlight the heart of our mission:

  • Honoring Leaders: celebrating the contributions of the Leadership Award, and the Advocacy Award.

  • Building Community: reconnecting with fellow ICCJ supporters.

  • Gathering in Style: The beautiful event space at Gilbert & Cook creates the perfect backdrop for a night of celebration and impact.

Funds raised will directly support ICCJ’s programs, including youth divorce workshops and legal representation for children in high-conflict custody cases. These services provide critical support to children navigating some of the most difficult moments in their lives.
